About me
My name is Hana Polívková, and I am a psychotherapist. My professional background encompasses psychosomatic and dynamic psychotherapy, allowing me to effectively address a wide range of mental health challenges.
For over ten years, I have focused on individual and couples therapy, developing a deep understanding of relationship dynamics. I assist individuals and couples in navigating communication difficulties, resolving conflicts, and rebuilding trust, guiding them towards healthier and more fulfilling relationships. I provide a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore and express their emotions, learn effective emotional regulation techniques, and develop coping mechanisms for managing intense feelings.
Several years ago, I expanded my practice to include adolescents and their unique challenges. This experience enables me to support young people facing various issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, self-harm, body image concerns, and social difficulties. I tailor my approach to each individual, ensuring they feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the therapeutic process.
